Conferences and debates
The event proposes an open debate on contemporary visual art for art professionals and the greater public as well as a get-together for Czech, Italian and international artists in order to promote further cooperation.

Antonio Manfredi and Alma Idrizi will present aspects of European cultural scene in the time of economic crisis in Europe and the project NetCAM .
Chris Herdel will give two lectures with open debate about economic and philosophical foundations of the European visual art heritage as exemplified among others by the art institutions of Naples.

Wednesday, 23 of September 2015 at 6.00 pm:
Vernissage and presentation of the project “NetCAM/CzeCAM” with introduction by the curator Antonio Manfredi and presentation by Alma Idrizi.
Thursday 24 of September 2015 at 6.00 pm:
Conference: “Art and Economy” by Chris Herdel . The conference deals with the role played by visual arts in the European macroeconomic structures of the past and its contemporary decline through a monetaristic approach to the economy.

NetCAM is an international contemporary art movement, with the main subject of supporting art, artists and culture. NetCAM connects institutes, galleries and universities so that the new networks created give an open opportunity for every artist to be displayed and realize collaboration in future. In every new presentation of the NetCAM project a number of artists and galleries make their first step of connection by displaying their work in this project in the way that the project together with the connections continue to grow and spread around the world.

Antonio Manfredi is a photographer, sculptor, painter, video artist and Art Director of CAM Museum in Naples. He exhibited his works in the most important cities worldwide. He has participated in more than 300 collective and personal exhibitions. In March 2007 he was chosen by the Italian Ministry for Foreign Affairs to realize a sculpture commemorating the Italian-American victims of the Twin Towers demolition in New York. He works with prestigious private galleries in Italy and overseas, has exhibited in several museums for contemporary art. As curator he realized several international exhibition projects in cooperation with important international public and private bodies. In 2004 he founded and currently manages as Art Director CAM Museum. In 2011 he was invited as artist in the 54° Venice Biennale with the installation “Maybe”. In 2012 he was invited as artist in dOCUMENTA(13) with a photo-video installation entitled “Ashes” for the performance of Miriam Wuttke. Some of the most important national and international newspapers wrote about his performances, such as: BBC, CNN, Le Monde, Pravda, Liberation, El Paìs, Spigel, The Economist, The Telegraph, ABC, CBN, The Independent, China Daily, The Korea Herald, Le Figaro, Le Devoir, La Repubblica, Il Corriere della Sera, Los Angeles Times etc.

Chris Herdel is a painter, photographer and free lance lecturer. With artist association ArtLobbyEurope (ALE) he fights to implement art creation in Europe as an integral part of its economy. His theme is “the European Image” as a mirror of the development of European society. In this context his recent studies are focusing on the impact of visual arts on macroeconomic structures. He has lectured throughout Europe in prestigious universities and institutions such as Mimar Sinan University Istanbul, Central European University Budapest, Centre Cultural C. Peugeot, Paris or Academy of Fine Arts in Prague.

Alma Idrizi is multimedia fine artist whose works include Digital Photography, Painting, Drawings, Illustration, Video, Animation, Fashion and Jewelry design etc. She was born in 1985 in Skopje, Macedonia, where she lives and works, starting with drawing and painting from the early years in 1998. In the years 2010-2013 she has participated in many projects. Funded by the US Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation in Macedonia. She started exhibiting her work during the 2003 in Museum of Contemporary Arts in Macedonia, and since then she is represented in numerous personal and collective exhibitions such as in the Biennale in Wales 2014, in Salon d’ Autumne – Paris 2014, CAM Casoria 2014, Kobro Gallery- Lodz 2014 etc. Her works are part of many public and private collections, in Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo, Turkey, Argentina and Uruguay. Her artwork is permanently exhibited in the CAM Casoria Contemporary Art Museum in Naples, Italy.
